Contracted With Deadly Dengue Fever
The 15th July, 2010 till 23rd July, 2010 will always be marked in my life for being threatened with the deadly dengue fever.
It all started on 15th July at 4pm on the second day of my 8D Problem solving training. Immediately after, I came back home, i was seriously in headache and at nite my body so hot in fever. Normal medications was simply too narrow in battling this virus. On sunday, the 18th July, 2010, I went back to hospital for a blood test and my platelets was at 152 - slightly above the normal 150-450.
Since 18th - 23rd, everyday was a routine for me to attend myself for blood test. My lowest platelets was reading at 149 from 167 a day before - doctor was amazed with the decreased of the platelets. As far as their are concerned, it won't go down once it's on a uptrends. In my case, it was something unique, and the final reading was 171 - that was the last day when i was finally declared clinically out of dangerous zone. I was so lucky for not being hospitalised or because my platelet level wasn't falls to below 100 where I might needs blood transfusion.
For remedial purposed, I took few tradisional steps in fighting this deadly disease. I consumed Crab soup, papaya bitter juice and plenty of 100plus and plain water.
Even, till today i am still not fully recovered but my fever has gone for sure.
No matter what happened, we must always pray hard and trust in God's spirits and destiny.
God Bless.

A READING FROM THESTAR
Friends with hearts of gold help out a destitute family
By LEE YEN MUNyenmun@thestar.com.my
PETALING JAYA: They don’t fight crime and there is no Charlie or Bosley in their lives but these three women are certainly angels in their own right.
Drawn by the plight of a family living in a crowded low-cost flat, Cecilia Wong, Tang Say Foon and Chan Chui Nam pooled their resources and jumped in to help.
On Saturday, armed with bags of essential foodstuff, clothes and stationery, they climbed to the fifth floor of the Desa Mentari flats here where the family of 21 was living.
After reading about the household in The Star on July 10, Wong felt compelled to help in some way.
Some of the children looking at the gifts given to them at their home by the three good friends Tang (left), Chan (in yellow) and Cecilia (second from right) yesterday.
The family consists of seven adults with four of them gainfully employed.
The monthly income of the family fluctuates due to the nature of their jobs working at a car wash, part-time lorry attendant, cleaning and part-time labourer.
There are also 14 children living in the small unit, ages ranging from a newborn to a 13-year-old.
At night, 10 of them sleep in the master bedroom and the rest share the living room space, using mattresses or clothes as bedding.
“When I read the article, I felt so sorry for the children who appeared to be helpless,” said Wong.
The business development manager, who is a volunteer at the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, rallied her former schoolmates to help via Facebook.
Her two friends are also socially conscious – Tang enjoys helping at homes for the elderly while Chan combines her passion for running with charity by participating in fund-raising runs.
Last Monday, an officer from the Labour Department visited the family together with The Star to assess the employability of the adults.
“Our goal is to help them secure a stable job, so that they can generate a steady income on their own,” said department assistant director Kennedy Kumar H.M.

Funds From Funky Fun
I came across an article from The Star (17th July, 201o). A group of youngsters are organising a summer party in aid of charitable causes.
They are hoping to raise RM100,000.
Let's support them with a good cause.
God Bless

My Assignment
It's totally exhausted today. Came back around 7pm after attending an internal 2 days training on 8D problem solving. It's interesting and i learned alots from the first day. Knowledge is the key to success and continues learning is the motto I'm always keep to my heart.
The Idea Behind website page has finally completed, and I think there's something more to touch up before finalising it and I can start a new website.
That's all for today.
God bless

Inexpensive Ways To Advertise
I love to read Starbizweek - i make it a point not to missed from reading, althought i'm on outstation trips. Mainly because I'm directly involved in business. Starbizweek provides many latest business information from Malaysia and overseas, without the absences from small corporation till the giants, scandals, take over, merger, real estate etc.
I've came across an article about inexpensive ways to advertise, the author outlined several creative and potentially cheapest method in promoting your products to vast/ local market. Please visit the Staronline to read further, it was dated 3rd July, 2010.
Among are word of mouth, create flyers, advertise online, cross promote with another businesses and write a newsletter.
That's all i want to share today.

My Journey Starts Here...
For every now and then, I don't want to missed a thing from informing my followers. Therefore, I will post all updates and progress of the "A Million Hearts" project here for reading.
Infact, I would use this blog as my platform in informing the community on any available latest news, updates, generous donations, progress, efforts and etc.
For the beginning, i am working on the foundation/ structure and texts of the "A Million Hearts" website and expecting it to take approximately 5 weeks to complete from the designing work, texting up to the hosting and putting the site live. For your information, I am designing and building the site by myself...learning and doing it to helps less fortunate people, I also wanted to save cost and it's not that difficult to create a website, perhaps it's fun.
Till I update again...
To know me more. Please feel free to read about me page. Click here

Simple The Idea Behind....
Moving on to the idea behind this concept, "AMillionHearts" online ads took the initial concept of the pixel ad and spice up some additional elements to it. So, you might ask, how could it be better than the original? Nothing is really original anymore under the sun.
That is where the next part of the idea came in, I was thinking on how about if we helped a lot of less fortunate people? What if we took the concept of pixel advertising and added the concept of donating 50% to charity - that's awesome, as the result I welcome the birth of "WALL OF GENEROSITY".
On another twist, "AMillionHearts" ads service are open to both individual and corporate to place an ads on our "WALL OF GENEROSITY" page with the objective to generate RM2,000,000 and 50% is donated into various charity bodies and less fortunate people in Malaysia to ensure their welfare are taken care of.
I believe, in order to be self-sustainable in the long term, every single cents donated will be invested into secured government linked mutual funds such as Amanah Saham Wawasan 2020, Amanah Saham Malaysia or Amanah Saham 1Malaysia to generate return continuesly - for non stop donation - over the long term i would establish a foundation to safeguard these money. I rationally believe with prudent investment and protecting the principal, it would directly contribute to the sustainability of my donation efforts. I would stop the online ad service on my "WALL OF GENEROSITY" website once the RM1,000,000 worth of donation funds is achieved. Don't be shock, infact, I would still continue to provide help as long as possible with my long term investement plan. Donation will be make from time to time when opportunity arose with all the details will be posted online for viewing and documents are available for verification.
I believed a powerful idea like that could help an awful lot of people - as we are Malaysian who are always eager and love for charity. To those who placed an ads, in addition to the website traffic and page rank boost, they would also be able to enjoy a public relations boost as they enhance their relationship as a good corporate citizen and being a generous public in donating. But, if people that buy space on the AMillionHearts Web Page do not have to have a website that they want to promote, they may just want to help a good cause, and that is great, too, since we would offer a generosity page for their good cause to beknown.
I look forward to hearing from you!
All the best,

The Birth Of A Million Hearts Blog....
Hi Beloved Malaysian,
Today the 11th, July, 2010, is the mark on my calendar, on the birth of "A Million Hearts" blog. It's a project brainchild by me to help less fortunate people.
The main motivation is to realised my dream in helping, passion and humble way of giving back DIRECTLY to the society - who is in needy. I know my efforts alone are not enough to help vast number of people, that has triggered me to setup this service and I urge and encourage everybody to combine the efforts and strengths to help the less fortunate and needy people in Malaysia and the world. This has prompted me to start this service with the aim to collect RM2,000,000 where 50% will be donated to various charity or less fortune individual who is needy. I will stop the service once the objective to collect RM1,000,000 achieves.
Wish all the best and May God Bless my noble efforts.
Thank you for you supports and efforts in making this project a success.
